 Introduction

The Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Studies (EIBFS) is the UAE’s premier academic centre of excellence providing training, teaching, research and consultancy support to the financial sector. In our continuous effort to bring world-class quality education and international designational programs, we are happy once again to collaborate with ifs School of Finance for offering Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) program in UAE.

What is CDCS?
 

CDCS is a professional certification that enables documentary credit practitioners to demonstrate their specialist knowledge and application of the skills required for competent practice.

Who should attend?
 

The CDCS is extremely useful for people working in/or trade finance, import/export financing, pre & post shipment financing, international trade financing, and working on other documentary credits.

Entry Requirements
 

There are no entry requirements. However, it is strongly recommended that you have three years' documentary credit or related experience.

 The Certificate improves your practical knowledge and understanding of the complex issues associated with documentary credit practice

 The Certificate is an integral part of your continuing professional development

 It increases your expertise and professional value

 CDCS will give you access to the benchmark professional designation CDCS.

Please note: Re-certification is required every three years in order to retain the CDCS designation.
