EIBFS Graduates 178 UAE Nationals On Thursday, May 31st 2012, EIBFS witnessed the Graduation of 178 male and female UAE Nationals from the Accounting and Finance Management Program in the presence of EIBFS General Manager Mr. Jamal Ahmed Al Jassmi Deputy General Manager Mr. Essa Al Zaabi, Deputy General Manager for “Tanmia” Mrs. Noura Al Bedour, Acting General Manager “Tanmia” and Mr. Ahmed Al Ahmedi from “Tanmia”.
In his speech, Mr. Jamal Al Jassmi expressed his appreciation to Tanmia for their cooperation, support and efforts in advancing Emiratization policies of qualifying UAE Nationals to join the labour market. Through the plans and programs followed in the training, the newly graduated Emiratis will be prosperous in the banking sector. Mr. Al Jassmi pointed out that this program was the first of its kind to be designed and implemented through the collaboration of Tanmia and the EIBFS. The program trained several groups in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Dhaid, Dubai and Al Fujairah. The curriculum included: financial accounting, financial management, English for business, and utilization of technology in accounting and finance. A group of EIBFS staff members in addition to experts from the banks and companies collaborated in teaching the program for 8 weeks, almost 50 training days.
Mr. Jamal Al Jassmi also expressed the willingness of the institute to offer more programs such as this one in the future, which will be directed towards acquiring a position afterwards and combine both theoretical and practical knowledge. 35% of the graduates were appointed to jobs immediately after completing the program. And it is expected that the rest of the graduates will follow in the near future, seeing that there are further endeavours , such as career fairs organized in collaboration with exchange companies and banks, in order to employ the participants.
